Method

Sends a signal to the process, and returns false without sending it if the process is not running.

Description#

public ProcessRunner::sendSignal(
    int $signal = 15
): bool

On Windows the signal cannot be chosen: $signal is ignored and every call ends the process at once, as sigkill() does on POSIX.

Parameters#

$signal int = 15

The signal number; 15 is SIGTERM

Return values#

True if the signal was sent bool
